About Us
Our Servant Pastor
Albert J. Lindsey, Jr.
Born August 7, 1969, Bishop Albert Lindsey, Jr. is a fourth generation preacher who began his preaching ministry at the age of seventeen, while just a senior in high school. While still a student, Bishop Lindsey served as the Superintendent of Sunday School and as Associate Pastor of the Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor B.J. Johnson, Jr., his uncle.
He is a product of the Atlanta Public School System, a graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion, The University of Phoenix with a Master of Arts in Education and Nova Southeastern University with an Education Specialist Degree in School Leadership and Administration.
He was ordained and elevated to the Pastorate of Neriah in December of 1997. He assumed his Pastoral duties at Neriah on January 1, 1998. This he believes is demonstrative of the Divine Providence of God as he is the seventh Pastor to lead this great Church. He was consecrated to the Episcopal Office of Bishop and Installed as the Presiding Prelate of the Ecclesia Fellowship on November 13, 2010.
He has dedicated his life to helping the saint and sinner understand the immense difficulties in trying to live a God-centered life in a world full of sin. He is accomplishing this by exposing people to the tenets of God's Word which make the faith walk a possibility. His experiences nurtured his unique call to the ministry of reconciliation and honed his distinct ability to transcend tradition in his delivery of the gospel, through widening spiritual parameters in order to reach diverse people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and denominations. His powerful, “keeping it real” approach to ministry encourages and empowers people at whatever point in life they may find themselves.
In addition to providing pastoral leadership to the Neriah Church, Bishop Lindsey teaches and coaches on the high school level, and has plans to obtain his Doctorate of Ministry Degree. He is also a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
He is married to his best friend and soul mate, Stephanie J. Lindsey, and they are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters, Asha Kamili, Jesseca Gabriel and Jazna Nicole Storey.
